Services for Robert W. Holland will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 3 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, processing to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine for Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m.

Interment will be private.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 2 at the funeral home from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Robert was born on Jan. 13, 1915 the son of the late John and Anna (Hatton) Holland and passed away peacefully on April 28 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Robert was a founding member of St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church and had been involved with the ministries of the church throughout the years including being an usher.

Survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Dorothy Henrichsen Holland and preceded by his first wife Helen (Corbett) Holland; loving father of Mary Ellen (Kenneth) Oeschger, Mickie (Ronald) Udell, Maureen (John) Battaglia, Jerry Holland, Tom (Sherry) Henrichsen, Mike (Jill) Henrichsen and Walter (Nancy) Henrichsen, and the late Robert P. Holland; father in law of Janice Holland Kissane; cherished grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 15; dear uncle of  many nieces  and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. Robert was last surviving sibling of two brothers and 7 sisters.
