Beloved husband of Ann Kavanaugh; loving father of Christopher (Alison) Doran, Kevin (Kate) Doran, David (Kaytee) Kavanaugh and Colleen (Jarrott) Schramm; proud grandfather of Violet and Emmett; dear brother of Dick and Roger (Suzan) Doran; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. An Air Force Veteran, former Skokie Police Officer and Deputy Chief of Police in Mt. Prospect, Robert was the President, Chief Consultant of R.A. Doran and Associates.

Visitation Sunday, Oct. 20, 3-9 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 21, 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Interment Memory Garden Cemetery.
