Patrick J. Molohon, 82, longtime resident of Palatine, IL, formerly of Sun City in Huntley, IL. He was the beloved husband of Peggy Molohon; loving father of Carolyn (Frank) Schiefelbein, Colleen (the late Elroy "Sandy") Sandquist, Cathleen (Joseph) D'Alessandro and Courtney (Dennis, Jr.) Bond; proud grandfather of Kylen and Kara Sandquist; Joseph III, Patrick, Margaret and Rebecca D'Alessandro; Henry and Dennis III Bond; and Hunter Schiefelbein; and dear brother of Shirley Michels.

A Korean War Army Veteran, Patrick received his BA at John Carroll University, attended Loyola University School of Law and received his MBA at De Paul University. He held executive posts until 1980 when he founded a private law practice that became Molohon, Sandquist & James, LLP. He was a founding member of Holy Family Parish were he sang in the choir and served on the parish counsel and building committee. An avid golfer and history buff, he enjoyed acting and directing in community theater, especially in the Sun City Theater Company.

Funeral Information

Memorial visitation Friday, March 7, 4-8 PM and Saturday, March 8, 11:30 AM until time of Memorial Mass at 12:30 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness.
