Patrick J. Dolphin, 77, of Palatine.

Services for Patrick J. Dolphin, will begin with prayers on Monday, March 5 at 9:30 a.m. at the , 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, proceeding to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine for funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Patrick was born on August 11, 1934 in Chicago the son of the late Walter and Catherine (nee Dixon) Dolphin and passed away on Thursday March 1.

Patrick is survived by his beloved wife Sally (nee Keane) Dolphin; loving daughter Beth (Michael) Matijevic; cherished grandchildren Michael, Andrew, Daniel and Timothy Matijevic; his dear siblings Maureen (Late John) Dwyer, Therese (Late Gil) Gavin, Ann (Leo) Latz, Margaret (Jay) Parsons, Frank Dolphin, Olive (Frank) Lucido, Barbara (John) Bergquist and Kathleen (Link) Smith; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. He will be especially missed by his companion Winston.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN  38105 or to the Anti Cruelty Society of Chicago, 157 W. Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60654.
