Obituary: Services Planned for Kathryn Wrubel
Visitation for Kathryn Wrubel, formerly of Cary, will be held Thursday, November 29 and a funeral on Friday, November 30.
Kathryn Wrubel, nee Eiler, 93, formerly of Cary, passed away November 25.
She was born September 22, 1919, in Croatia, and is survived by her children, Veronica (Bernard) Villicana and Edwin (Margaret) Bauernfreund; stepdaughter, Sharon (Harold) Chenier; grandchildren, Catherine (Tom) McGuckin, Joseph (Michelle), Christine and Jennifer (Bert Irslinger) Villicana, Laura (Jim) Beaupre, Edward, Brian (Christa), Kathleen Bauernfreund, Lisa (Art) Cichon, Regina, Michael (Tha) and Anthony (Georgina) Bauernfreund and 15 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her son Walter Bauernfreund.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 30 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 1st Street, Cary, for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Windridge Cemetery.
