Irene M. Joll, a Palatine resident since 1972, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7.
Irene was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 17, 1937 the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (nee Krucik) Gudenburr and passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7th at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
Beloved wife of the late Victor E. Joll; loving mother of Jennifer L. (Bill) Pinder of LaPeer, MI and James J. (Fiancée Tracey Erb) Joll of Chicago; cherished grandmother of Vivienne Renee Joll; dear sister of Joseph (Harriet) Gudenburr.
Irene had worked as a registered nurse for 25 years at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights prior to her retirement. Irene was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Palatine for 40 years.
Visitation for Irene M. Joll will be held on Friday, January 11th from 3 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine with a celebration of life service being held at 5:30PM. Interment will be private.
