Obituary: Ernest J. Tallian of Palatine
Ernest Tallion was a Korean War Veteran and a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. His life will be honored and remembered on Wednesday and Thursday.
Ernest J. Tallian, 83, of Palatine was born on July 8, 1929 and passed away on June 9.
Ernest was the loving husband of 57 years to Claudia, nee Cieslak; loving father of Cindy (Phil) Devol, Ken (Rebecca) Tallian, Marla (Paul) Luksch, Jason (Jennifer) Tallian and the late Jim (Marcey) Tallian; proud grandfather of Heather (Joe) Hamell, Ben (Deanna) Devol, Dan (Scarlett), Stacey and Scott Tallian, Maddie, and Quintin Tallian, Andrew, Michael, Kendra and Kayla Luksch, Jackson and Jacob Tallian; and great grandfather of Jonah, John, Ripley and Marin Hamell, Abby, and Tommy and Juliana Devol; dear brother of Irene Dudas.
Ernest was a veteran of the Korean War and a lifelong Cubs fan.

Funeral Information
Memorial Visitation Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 3-9 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Memorial Mass Thursday, June 20, 2013, 10 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
