Obituary: Edythe M. Bentsen, 98, of Palatine
Memorial visitation for Edythe will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 from 1:00P.M. until the time of the memorial service at 4:00P.M.
Edythe Bentsen was born on May 13, 1915 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (nee Yunker) Bubenheimer and passed away peacefully on Monday evening July 29th.
Edythe was a longtime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Palatine.
Beloved wife of the late Harvey Bentsen; loving mother of Donald Bentsen, Betty Johnson, Carol (Vernon) Frost and Nancy Bentsen; cherished grandmother of Mark, Meri and Lisa Johnson, Janet (Werner) Kaufmann and James (Jerry Pohlen) Frost; great grandmother of Jenny, Keri, Jessica, Valerie, Christopher, Steven, and Michael; preceded in death by her siblings Fred Buren, Rose E. Thornton and Jacob Bubenheimer.

Memorial visitation for Edythe will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 from 1:00P.M. until the time of the memorial service at 4:00P.M. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated for St. Paul United Church of Christ, 144 E. Palatine Road, Palatine, IL 60067.
