Margaret H. Folkers, 63
Services have been schedule for Margaret H. Folkers, 63, of Palatine.
The visitation for Margaret H. Folkers (nee Hanson), 63, a longtime resident of Palatine, will held Sunday, Sept. 16 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway in Palatine.
The funeral service will begin Monday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine, and the interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
Margaret was born July 27, 1949 in Hammond, Indiana, and she passed away Friday, Sept. 14, at her home in Palatine.

Margaret was a longtime volunteer and employee of District #15 at Pleasant Hill Elementary School. She was an avid cook, liked to knit, and practiced calligraphy. She was active and donated her time to the League of Women Voters. She also enjoyed traveling internationally with her husband through his work.
Survivors include her children, Brian Folkers, Steven Folkers and Beth Folkers; brothers, Theodore (Aida) Hanson, Robert Hanson and Thomas Hanson.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, John Benard Folkers; and her parents, George and Catherine (nee Walz) Hanson.
