Linda Bristow Frahm, 49, Palatine

Linda Bristow Frahm (nee Allen), 49, of Palatine, passed away on Dec. 8, 2013.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., in Palatine.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m., with visitation preceding at 10:30 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Rd., in Palatine. Pastor Tom Acton will officiate with assistance from Pastor Warren Schilf and Pastor David Mercer. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.

Linda was born in Abington, Penn., on Dec. 26, 1963. She is a 1981 graduate of Palatine High School. Linda went on to earn a degree in elementary education from Illinois State University and a masters degree in education from National Louis University. Linda worked as a teacher at Mount Prospect District 57 for 28 years.

Linda has touched many lives and will be fondly remembered by her students, co-workers, friends, doctors, nurses and all who have journeyed with her in faith. She will truly be missed and cherished for her loving kindness.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, William McMillin. Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Frahm, adoring children Gabriele, Christian and Katharina, and mother Ruby McMillin. She is also survived by her brother Todd McMillin, sisters Christa Hecht and Barbara Allen and countless nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the oncology staff at North Shore Kellogg Cancer Center, co-workers and administration at Mount Prospect District 57 and all who have supported Linda through her life’s journey of faith and learning.
