Visitation for John P. Moriarty, 54, of Palatine will be held Monday, Oct. 1, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home located at 185 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine. The funeral will be on Tuesday, Oct. 2, from the funeral home to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
John was the husband of Grace A., nee Falkenberg; loving father of Rebecca and the late Colleen; brother of Bill, Larry, Mark (Kim), Lynne (Jay) Mueller, Joan (Kevin) Proffitt and Christine Moriarty; son-in-law of Mary Ann and Charles Falkenberg; brother-in-law, uncle, wonderful friend and neighbor to many. John was preceded in death by his parents William F. and Catherine Moriarty.
Born May 17, 1958, John passed away on Thursday, Sept. 27.
