Joan Regul, 79, Palatine

Joan was born February 5, 1934 in Chicago, and she passed away October 26, 2013 with her family. Joan was the loving mother of Michael Regul, Stephen Regul, David Regul, Timothy Regul, Terrence Regul, Kathleen (Gregory) Vogler, Sharon (Andrew) Gedvilas, Nancy Regul and Laurie (Todd) Evans; loving grandmother of 20; and loving great-grandmother of 12.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin F. Regul; parents, Carl Benjamin and Gladys (nee Hartkop) Duhn; and her brothers, Carl B. Duhn Jr. and William Duhn.

Prayers for Joan Regul, 79, of Palatine, will be said Wednesday, October 30,  at 9:30 a.m., at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60067. The funeral mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine, IL 60074.  Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Palatine.
