Jane Eileen Rittenhouse, nee Peterson, died July 7, 2012, at 95 years old. She was born January 22, 1917, to the late Marcus and Ethel Peterson of Aurora, Missouri.
She devoted her life to her late husband, Joseph Wilson Rittenhouse, their children and grandchildren. She is survived by six children, their spouses, fifteen grandchildren and spouses, plus four great-grandchildren, as well as a child by choice and dear friends. Jane was a former resident of Barrington.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 East Algonquin Road, South Barrington on Saturday, July 14 in room C204/206 at 11:00 am with a lunch reception immediately following. Interment will be private.
