Hidenori Iijima, 70

Services have been scheduled for Hidenori Iijima, 70, of Palatine.

A memorial visitation will be held for Hidenori Iijima, 70, of Palatine, on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60067.  A Buddhist priest will be conducting the memorial service at 7 p.m. following the visitation.

Hidenori, was born in Tokyo on Oct. 12, 1941, and passed away on Oct. 02, 2012. Mr. Iijima's work experience included more than 20 years as Chief Engineer for a local printing press manufacturer. His talents are appreciated for furthering many designs and improvements in that industry. He will be sorrily missed by his many friends and associates.

He was the beloved husband of Marie Denise Cormier; loving father of Samuel Yoshinori Cormier-Iijima; dear brother of Kazuyoshi Iijima and Mieko Matsushita; and adored uncle of Rieko, Fumi, Yukari, and Yuka.

In Lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society, 1114 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.ñ
