Henry N. Moreth, 89

Services for Henry N. Moreth will begin with prayers on Saturday, May 19 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine proceeding to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 465 N. Benton Street for funeral Mass at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.  Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18 from 4–8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Henry was born on April 6, 1923 and passed away on Monday, May 14 at his home.

Henry had been an active with the BSA serving as a leader, volunteered with Marklund Home Resale Shop and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.  Henry had also served during WWII in the Army as a staff Sgt.

Beloved husband of  62 years of Patsy (nee Oshiro) Moreth; loving father Louis H. Moreth and the late Theresa and Joan Moreth;  dear brother of Rose Helen (Late Allen) Reis, and the late Jerome Moreth; brother in law of Judith Moreth;  also surviving  many nieces, nephews and other Loving family and friends.  Henry was preceded in death by his parents Henry J. and Mary Moreth.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for the Marklund Home 164 S. Prairie Avenue, Bloomingdale, IL 60108 ; or the charity of the donor’s choice.
