George W. Hasbach, 92

Memorial visitation for George W. Hasbach will be held on Friday, Sept. 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway in Palatine. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Presbyterian Church of Palatine located at 800 E. Palatine Road. Interment will be private.

George was a co-founder of the Palatine Senior Softball and Volleyball League.  He worked for 44 years at Victor Adding Machine/Comptometer. George was the beloved husband of Virginia F. (nee Glaeser); father of Kathy (Jim) Ekeberg, Dave (Ann) Hasbach and Donna (Bob Brunning) Hasbach; grandfather of Lea, Erin, Jeff and Jamie Ekeberg; brother of Walter (Janice) Hasbach, Eleanore (Robert) Norman and Lillian Veren.   Preceded in death by his parents William and Dorothea Hasbach and brother Al Hasbach.
