Faustina Clotilde Medved Michela, 98, a resident of , Palatine, formerly of Arlington Heights.

Faustina came to this country at the age of 7, marrying at 18, and becoming the mother of 4. She lived a full and productive life, finishing her career as a most dedicated Practical Nurse in Oncology at Lutheran General Hospital.

She maintained a warm and affectionate relationship with all who knew her. She was the heart and soul of her family and she felt God had been very good to her. She was born on Aug. 29, 1913 in La Rocca, Italy the daughter of the late Anthony and Francis (Data) Bigando and passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 9, with her family at her bedside.

Beloved wife of the late Oscar E. Medved and her second husband, the late Walter Michela; loving mother of Dr. John (Amelia Ann) Medved, Yvonne (late Richard) Donatoni, Arlene Joan (John) Kranz and the late Donald (wife Patricia Mikrut) Medved; grandmother of 14; great grandmother of 30; great great grandmother of 1; dear sister of the late Renee Olsen and Yolanda Fallbacher; step sister of the late Gino Gobbi.
