Edith M. Salvatini, nee Mercantino, 90, formerly of Hazelton, PA. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Salvatini; loving mother of Frank G. (Kathleen), Marcanthony (Sally), Jeffry P. (fiancé Jill) and Jonathan J. (Patricia) Salvatini; cherished grandmother of Gina, Francesca, Marcanthony, Ian, Jaclyn and Nicholas. Edith was a salesperson at John M. Smythe Homemakers for 21 years.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, May 24, 2012, 4-8 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Family and friends will meet s Friday, May 25, 2012, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine for a Memorial Mass at 10 AM. Inurment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
