Funeral services for Christy L. Schmitt will be on Saturday, Feb. 5.
Funeral services for Christy L. Schmitt, 46, of Bloomingdale formerly of Palatine, will be Saturday, Feb. 5 at 10:30 a.m.
The services will be held at 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Cary. Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Schmitt was born Dec. 4, 1964, in Park Ridge the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Eggebrecht) Schmitt. She passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, with her loving family cheering her on as she crossed the finish line of life, to hear the voice of the Lord saying "Well done my good and faithful servant."

Schmitt had fought a courageous battle with a lingering illness for more than 20 years.
Christy Schmitt graduated from Palatine High School in 1983 and went on to complete her course work at North Park College in Chicago.

She is survived by her loving mother Julia; devoted sister Carrie (Leslie) De Moss; cherished niece and nephew Heather and Jeremy De Moss.
