Charlotte K. Homse, 96, Palatine

Charlotte K. Homse, who passed away Nov. 22, worked many years in the advertising layout department for the Chicago Sun-Times, prior to her retirement.

Charlotte K. Homse, 96, a resident of St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, in Palatine, and a former resident of Chicago and Morton Grove, passed away Nov. 22.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine. 

Charlotte was born on June 17, 1917, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (nee Herman) 

Prior to her retirement, Charlotte worked many years for the Chicago Sun-Times in advertising layout.

Charlotte was the Bbeloved aunt of Dawn (John) Evans and Caroljean (late Bill) Stutzman. She is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews; 23 great great nieces and nephews and nine great great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Hitzelberger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for Little Sister of the Poor C/O of St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL  60067.
