The funeral service for Albert O. Nicholson, 92, of Glenview, will be held Monday, Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home located in Palated at 201 N. Northwest Highway. The visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 14, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Albert was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during WWII. Born Aug. 29, 1920 in Chicago, and he passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at Silverado Health Care in Lake Zurich.
Survivors include his children, Gail (Joe) Pisula and Bruce (Kim) Nicholson; grandchildren, Jennifer (Rick) Leazer, Brian (Sofiya) Nicholson, Justin Nicholson, Kristin Nicholson, Kaitlyn Nicholson, Vicky Pisula, great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Matthew Leazer, Michelle Nicholson, and baby boy Nicholson on the way.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Delores M. (nee Peiffer) Nicholson.
