Visitation for Adrienne J. Westergren, a 50 year resident of Palatine, will be held on Wednesday Aug. 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the , 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Westergren will lie in state at , 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Adrienne was born on Feb. 25, 1929 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Roland and Anne (Boblick) Stjernberg and passed away at her home on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011.

Prior to retirement, Adrienne worked for Sellstrom Corporation of Palatine for more than 30 years. Some hobbies included being an avid Chicago sports fan and she loved to watch the Cubs, Sox, Bears and Bulls. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching her soaps.
Adrienne was a member of the St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church Women’s Club for many years. Adrienne’s children and grandchildren were the pride of her life and she especially looked forward to the holidays when the entire family could be together to celebrate.

Beloved wife of the late Carl A. Westergren, loving mother of Bruce (Donna) Westergren and Candace (Robert) Garland; cherished grandmother of Jeanine (Daniel) Wagner, Lauren Westergren, Dustin and Christopher Garland; loving sister of Barry Stjernberg.
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated for St. Thomas of Villanova Women’s Club, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, IL 60074.
