Rep. Nekritz to address local progressives Wednesday

State Representative Elaine Nekritz will address the monthly meeting of Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) this Wednesday at the Arlington Heights Public Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights. Rep. Nekritz, who is Assistant Majority Leader and Chairperson of the House Judiciary and Personnel and Pensions Committees, will discuss pension reform, concealed carry, marriage equality, regulation of hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") and other legislation considered by the General Assembly in its recently-completed session. Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) is a local grassroots group committed to work for progress and social justice.
