Recommendations for judicial primary elections

Matt Flamm, candidate for Palatine Township Democratic Committeeman, has published his recommendations for voters in the judicial primary elections this Tuesday, March 18th.

"As a lawyer, people often ask me how to vote on judicial races," said Flamm. "I usually follow the recommendations of the bar associations, especially the Chicago Council of Lawyers." Flamm formerly served as a member of the Council’s Judicial Evaluation Committee.

Following are Flamm's recommendations in contested countywide races and in the 13th Judicial Subcircuit, which includes Palatine Township:

For Judge of the Appellate Court (Gordon vacancy): Freddrenna M. Lyle

For Judge of the Appellate Court (Steele vacancy): John B. Simon

For Judge of the Circuit Court (Arnold vacancy): Alfred M. Swanson, Jr.

For Judge of the Circuit Court (Connors vacancy): Peter J. Vikelis

For Judge of the Circuit Court (McDonald vacancy): Cynthia Y. Cobbs

For Judge of the Circuit Court (Neville vacancy): Patricia Susan Spratt

For Judge of the Circuit Court (Reyes vacancy): Diana Rosario

For Judge of the Circuit Court (Hill Veal vacancy): Andrea Michele Buford

"My name is the first one after the judges (ballot position 191)," said Flamm. "Please make sure you keep voting until you’ve voted for me."
