Northwest Suburbs Organizing For Action (NWSOFA) Climate Change Presentation this Wednesday in Palatine

This Wednesday, September 18th at 7pm, Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) will hold a public presentation and discussion about the reality of climate change at the Palatine Public Library, 700 North Court, Palatine. This event will feature Al Gore's Climate Reality Project slide presentation with Q&A. It will include the science behind our climate, the link between global warming and storms, floods, droughts, fires, glaciers, polar caps, oceans, food supply, water, and global health. It will address the personal impact on people and the economic impact on our societies. Most importantly it will address the solutions to climate change, why there is hope and actions we can take.

Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) is the northwest suburban chapter of Organizing for Action, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing the policies that the American people voted for in 2012. As a grassroots funded social advocacy group OFA is committed to tipping the scales of power back to the American people instead of special interests in Washington.
