Bridge The Gap Walk Raises More Than $7,000

The third annual Bridge the Gap walk raised more than $7,000 for The Bridge Youth and Family Services.

The third annual Bridge the Gap walk raised more than $7,000 for The Bridge Youth and Family Services.

The walk was held Oct. 1 and drew 84 participants including Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz. The event featured a raffle and a small silent auction which were new to the this year’s walk. Among those participating were members of the Palatine Rotary and students from Fremd High School’s Service-Over-Self organization.

The Bridge exists to help troubled kids and kids in trouble lead happier, more successful lives regardless of their ability to pay for services.
