Until Next Year

We cannot run from winter,

We can't avoid the cold,

We can daydream of warmer days  when lemonade is sold.

We've put away our garden tools,

Our croquet sets and pots,

I miss the flowers oh so much, my stomach is in knots.

But once spring comes around again,

I'll welcome her sunshine, 

And all the things I've missed so much will once again be mine !
