I get so tired of seeing people obsessed with things like cellphones and I-Pods and gadgets. It makes me want to go back in time to a place in my childhoood when I would throw an old blanket down on the grass, grab a glass of something and a snack, and just lay under a tree and look up.
The ants would eventually discover the food source I had with me. I'd watch them as they marched with purpose towards it. It was annoying at the time, but I know now that even the ants were part of what would become a sweet,sweet memory of my being a kid.
Yesterday I wanted to photograph the daisies growing alongside my neighbors house.But I didn't just want to point and shoot them straight on .Too boring.

So I laid down on the cool grass and found myself underneath a daisy.
It made me feel like a kid again.
