As winter presents herself once again, today will bring the sound of snowblowers throughout Chicagoland.
People will be busy shoveling their walkways and driveways. Kids will build snowmen and ask moms and dads for a carrot nose and charcoal for the eyes and nose.

Seeing the kids outside always brings back memories of my sister and I getting bundled up and playing in the snow.
We'd run and jump around until our toes were numb. Then mom would warm our tummies with warm soup or hot chocolate.

Maybe us grown ups should get outside and build a snowman for old time sake.
Or at least get that first fat ball rolled out and let the kids finish "Frosty" tomorrow.
