Everyone seems to be in a good mood. Smiling faces and wagging tails as children scurry with excitement to pet dogs on leashes.
The friendly vendors talking to customers who are giddy about their purchases.

And often the sound of music and voices singing which only sweetens the mood in the air. It just feels happy to be a part of a community where people enjoy the simple things in life. After all, a nibble into a freshly made doughnut or a bite into a crisp Michigan apple. Sometimes it just doesn't get any better than that.
We have one last time this season to enjoy our farmers market. So this Saturday Oct. 29, grab that jacket and take a stroll through the parking lot of our train station. Pet a few dogs. Buy a butternut squash and some apples. And exchange a few smiles. It will just make you feel good.
