Flower Power

I know its not yet February and winter's not over,

But I'm dreaming of flowers and soft green clover.

I'm counting the weeks til the tulips will bloom,

To rid my head of these thoughts of gloom.

Winter lacks color and gets so cold,

But soon they'll be fragrance and colors bold.

Flowers are magical against the sky,

Explosions of color like the fourth of July.
