Beautiful Spring

We may be driving down the road in the last couple of weeks and  notice  all the pretty tulips clustered in flower beds.

Or maybe while we're walking our dogs we see tulips in full bloom  peppered throughout our neighbors landscape.

They are pretty enough in passing, but for a real treat, get up close and personal to an open tulip and look down into the center of it.

What I see when I take time to do this is a magical array of colors and textures that remind me of looking into a kaleidoscope when I was a child.
