Palatine Chamber of Commerce Selects Hank Sobotka as Volunteer of the Year

Palatine Chamber of Commerce Selects Hank Sobotka as Volunteer of the Year

On Thursday, January 24, 2013, the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their fourth annual "Key to Success" Awards & Installation Dinner. With over 100 guests in attendance, the celebration recognized successful businesses, as well as recognition of all the great professionals and volunteers that contribute to the success of the Palatine Chamber and business community.

Hank Sobotka, a Palatine Bank and Trust employee, was selected as Volunteer of the Year for his significant contribution to the Palatine Chamber and community. 

The Volunteer of the Year must be a current member or employed by a member in the Palatine Chamber, made a significant contribution to the Palatine Chamber or to the Palatine Community through community outreach, support of social or health programs, or other philanthropic or volunteer efforts that impact the Palatine Community. Hank is currently a Palatine Chamber member. He is also an instructor for the Chamber’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy, a member of the Rotary Club of Palatine, a board member for the Palatine Opportunity Center, and the treasurer of the Downtown Palatine Business Association.
