Vote 1-2-3's Position on District 15 Bussing

District 15 'Vote 1-2-3' Candidates State Position on Bussing

The Vote 1-2-3 slate for District 15 School Board wishes to reaffirm our position regarding the transportation of students.  This is in response to information from various sources misrepresenting our views and promoting other candidates.

As parents and family members of District 15 students using transportation services we appreciate having many fine drivers who are our community members and neighbors.  It is our hope to be able to keep bussing services in-house.  On balance, as of the date of submitting this release we do not have all of the necessary information to make a clear choice as to what is best for our students.  All of us on the Vote 1-2-3 slate: Matthew Lyons, Jennifer Zold, and Donna Johnson have stated the need to put children first in all Board decisions.  Consistent with our responses, written and verbal, safety is key in making any recommendation.
