Counselors helping Firefighters

If you are a counselor or social worker and you would like to learn about the fire service culture then attend our four hour workshop. Visit www.csff.info for details.

As a career Captain, licensed counselor and founder of Counseling Services for Fire Fighters (CSFF) I speak nationally on behavioral health and FF suicides.  One aspect of our culture is not asking for help when we are suffering emotionally. Yet, when we do we find a shortage of counselors, who are great people, but don't understand our culture.  That can change, for you as a counselor, by taking CSFF's four hour workshop titled "A Firefighters Life".  This course is co-sponsored by the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association. Our next class is on April 22 in Rolling Meadows, IL. Go to our web site for additional details and to register. Four lucky counselors will be selected to don our full gear and participate in a search & rescue drill.  Visit www.csff.info  Thank you.  Jeff
