The Day of Giving is a great opportunity for you and your family to give back to the Palatine community and for young people to earn Service Hours.

All Volunteer Days will be held at one location Park Place Shopping Center 1365 N. Rand Road (Retail space across from Walmart just South of Justice for Girls)

Requested Volunteers: Youth to Adult
Monday, November 25th
9AM-6PM, Sorting clothes by gender and size. Folding or place clothes on hangers.
Tuesday, November 26th
9AM-3PM, Sorting clothes by gender and size. Folding or place clothes on hangers.
Requested Volunteers: Youth to Adult
Friday, November 29th
1PM—5:30PM Continue to sort clothes by gender and size, hang & arrange clothes on tables.
Requested Volunteers: Teenager to Adult
Friday, November 29th
5:15PM—9:00PM “VIP Event” from 6:00 – 9:00. Help guests locate sizes and keep floors clear of clothes.
Saturday November 30th
7:30AM-2PM Restack and replenish clothes. Help guests locate sizes and keep floors clear of clothes.

Sign into volunteer spot with your email address and it will display the volunteer opportunities that are available. Note: email addresses are kept confidential and only used to provide you with alerts for the Day of Giving event.

Donations
You can also help by donating gently used or new clothing, all sizes accepted, especially “kids” winter coats and
clothes. We will be accepting donations on: Saturday, November 23rd between 4:45pm-6:15pm and
Sunday, November 24th between 7:45am to 12:15pm at Prince of Peace Parking lot, 1190 N Hicks Rd Palatine
We will also accept donations during the following days and times: Monday November 25th between the hours of 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Tuesday November 26th between the hours of 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.
