Mapmuse.com has a Christmas Display Locator app that is available for download on the iPhone and Android and allows users to search for holiday lights near your home. Here are links to provide you with more information on the iPhone app and the Android app.
The Locator is also available online.
"The apps are designed to give home decorators a chance to show off their spectacular holiday lights to the rest of the world," according to a press release from MapMuse.com. "The Locator's users can either browse a map for nearby light displays to visit, or view them from afar via photos and video links."
Those with Christmas lights can also add their home to the map.
The Locator is built on an interactive map that locates over 1,500 homes — a number that keeps growing every holiday season, according to the news release.
Homeowners can add photos, viewing hours, contact info, and web links to their listings with the hope of attracting more eyes to their displays, according to the news release.
