Berggren Signs with Harper College
The Harper College volleyball program bolstered its recruiting class, recently signing Barrington High School standout Sarah Berggren.
Berggren, a 6-foot middle hitter, was a Daily Herald All-Area Honorable Mention selection in 2013 for the MSL champion Fillies. Off the court, the honor roll student and Windy City Power League All-Academic honoree plans on majoring in biology.
"She is a very hard worker. It's like she takes her hard-hat and lunch pail and goes to work," said Harper head coach Bob Vilsoet. "She is a strong hitter, excellent blocker, terrific server and hustles on every point. We are lucky to have her on our team."
