Meet Chicago Sports Legends Fergie Jenkins and Pierre Pilote at Sports Authority
Chicago sports fans can meet legends Fergie Jenkins and Pierre Pilote at the Sports Authority in Schaumburg on Friday. The charity event benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Chicago Cubs baseball legend Fergie Jenkins and former Chicago Blackhawks Captain Pierre Pilote will be at Sports Authority in Schaumburg from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, to meet with fans and sign autographs.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), one of the many charities supported by The Fergie Jenkins Foundation.
This will not be Pilote’s first appearance with Jenkins, as he has become a regular guest of The Fergie Jenkins Foundation, according to a press release. However, it is the first time such an event will take place at Sports Authority, one of the nation’s largest full-line sporting goods retailers.
