Holiday Shopping Spree Benefits Palatine Children

Zurich North America, a United Way corporate partner, donated Target gift cards to underprivileged children to make their Christmas merrier.

A group of children from Palatine were treated to a holiday shopping spree at Target on Dec. 20.

Zurich North America, a United Way corporate partner, donated 34 $100 gift cards to 34 kids who access services at the Palatine Opportunity Center (POC), a United Way funded agency that connects underserved residents in the area to services and resources in an effort to build a community of empowered people, healthy families and vibrant neighborhoods.

The children traveled by bus from the POC to the Palatine Target at 679 E. Dundee Rd to choose their Christmas gifts.
