Palatine Township & Palatine Lions Club E-Cycling Event

Palatine Township and the Palatine Lions Club will be holding a FREE Electronics Recycling Event for individuals and businesses on Saturday October 29th from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM at the Palatine Township Offices Parking Lot located at 721 S Quentin Road, Palatine.  This may be your last chance to properly dispose of your electronic items before a new law goes into effect on January 1, 2012 that bans certain electronic items from being sent to a landfill.

A partial list of items being accepted are computers & laptops, monitors, scanners, TVs (less than 27") & remotes, small kitchen appliances (no microwaves), CD, DVD &  VCR players, computer components including mice, power cords & cables and many more items.  All computer hard drives will be wiped clean in the recycling process.

The Lions Club will also be accepting used eyeglasses, used hearing aids, inkjet cartridges and keys.
