Why should you get a colonoscopy? 

Thursday, March 27 - 6 pm 

In recognition of March being National Colorectal Cancer Awareness month, Dr. Ami Behara, Board Certified Gastroenterologist, will present a free community seminar. This program is for anybody interested in learning the importance of colonoscopies for preventive care and who is at risk. 

Topics include: 
  • Who’s at risk 
  • Review colon screening guidelines 
  • Discuss different options for colon screening 
  • Question and Answer Session

Dr. Ami Behara, Gastroenterologist
Board certified in Gastroenterology, Dr. Behara earned her BS, Integrated Life Sciences, from Kent State University in 1999. 

She was awarded her Doctor of Medicine degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 2003. She completed her residency at Rush University Medical Center in 2007, and her Gastroenterology Fellowship, also at Rush University Medical Center, in 2010.
