Rauner and Walsh to speak at Republican August meeting

The Palatine Township Republican Organization (PTRO), the official Republican organization of Palatine Township, will feature gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner and political commentator Joe Walsh at their regular monthly meeting which is free and open to the public on Saturday, August 3rd starting at 9:00 AM with the doors opening at 8:30 AM at the PTRO office at 839 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.

“Our meeting will feature both Bruce Rauner and Joe Walsh,” said Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Committeeman.  “Bruce will be sharing with us why he is running for governor.  Joe will be discussing his Freedom Movement and what the Republican party can do to get back on track.  This will be a very informative meeting so make sure this meeting is on your calendar.”

Founded in 2010 by newly elected Palatine Township Republican Committeeman Aaron Del Mar, PTRO coordinates the Republican Party’s efforts in the township.  Led by Del Mar and President Kevin McGrane, PTRO promotes the foundational principles of the Republican Party, namely fiscal responsibility, personal accountability and limited, transparent government, and works to elect Republican candidates who espouse those principles.
