Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) will conduct a public presentation and discussion about the reality of climate change at the Palatine Public Library, 700 North Court, Palatine. This event will feature Al Gore's Climate Reality Project slide presentation with Q&A. It will include the science behind our climate, the link between global warming and storms, floods, droughts, fires, glaciers, polar caps, oceans, food supply, water, and global health. It will address the personal impact on people and the economic impact on our societies. Most importantly it will address the solutions to climate change, why there is hope and actions we can take.
