Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) will meet this Wednesday, July 10th, at 7:00 pm at the Schaumburg Public Library, 130 South Roselle Road in Schaumburg. Nellie Sires, Illinois State Coordinator of Organizing for Action (OFA). will talk and answer questions about how OFA gives progressive Americans the ability to affect important public policies and social issues.
Northwest Suburbs Organizing for Action (NWSOFA) is a local grassroots group committed to work for progress and social justice. NWSOFA consists of issue teams that are actively working for gun violence prevention, comprehensive immigration reform, climate change legislation, and implementation of health care reform ("Obamacare"), and marriage equality, as well as budget and fiscal issues.
