Spring Valley Chorus will host workshops in Schaumburg, Jan. 8-29

The Spring Valley Chorus of Schaumburg will present a series of free vocal workshops, Jan. 8, 15, 22  and 29, at The Schaumburg Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive, in Schaumburg from 7:30-9 p.m.

Women of all ages that love to sing are welcome to attend the workshops and join in the open house event for the series of workshops. Champion Tenor singer, Helen Giallombardo will conduct the lessons with instructions in vocal placement, technique, warm ups and harmony.

The chorus is part of Sweet Adelines International, a highly respected worldwide organization of women singers. The chorus educates its members in the art of singing four-part harmony, barbershop style.
