Sing-Along Messiah

The Immanuel Singers, joined by additional voices, guest soloists and a live orchestra will present Part 1 of Handel’s Messiah at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palatine on Sunday, December 9th, as part of the church’s monthly Music to Move Our Next Generation benefit concert series.

Composed by German-born George Frideric Handel in 1741, the Messiah Part 1 focuses on the prophecy of the Messiah and His birth, the angels’ proclamation to the shepherds in the fields and the life of Jesus Christ.

Concert attendees are invited to bring their own musical score and join in the sing-along, or simply attend and be a part of the listening audience.  A reception will follow the concert.
