Legion holds breakfast with Santa

The Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.) are holding a special Holiday pancake breakfast with Santa which is open to the public on Saturday, December 15th from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM at the American Legion Hall 122 West Palatine Road in Palatine to raise funds for Legion Family Charities.

“We are celebrating the Holidays at this month’s pancake breakfast,” said Garrett McNally, Commander of the S.A.L.  “We will be holding our breakfast upstairs in our hall.  Santa will be joining us from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM.  Children will be able to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and get a picture with Santa for $2.00 or free with the donation of a non-perishable food item.”

The S.A.L. will be serving “all you can eat” pancakes and French toast.  With the pancakes and French toast, the S.A.L. will serve sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit, orange juice, coffee and milk.  This month children can special order blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes.  The breakfast costs $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for children between 6 and 12 years old and children under 5 years old are free.
