The Friends of the Palatine Public Library will hold a fall used book sale from Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21, 2012. All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Palatine Public Library District. The selection of materials includes books, DVDs, and over 1000 CDs donated by the community and available at a deep discount. You will find a large selection of science fiction materials at this sale.
The used book sales are always a popular event at the Palatine Library; some people come from other states to check out the great selection and pricing that the sale offers. Come early to find a favorite item, perhaps a hard-to-find book, or a great addition to your entertainment or music collection.
Sale hours:
Fri., October 19, 6:00-9:00 p.m., Friends members - No charge, Non-members - $5.
Sat., October 20, 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Free admission.
Sun., October 21, 12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Free admission. Prices are reduced!
The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program and has recently allocated funds for recent meeting room renovations.
