Clayson House Christmas Open House

It’s going to be a Dickens of a Christmas at the annual Clayson House Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 2. Annually, the Palatine Historical Society presents an open house centered on a different theme. This year the characters from A Christmas Carol will be in attendance at the Clayson House including Scrooge and all of his friends. The house will be decorated to reflect a Victorian era holiday, and the Open House, held from 1pm to 4pm on December 2, will include costumed characters, music and refreshments. The Open House is free of charge. The exhibit and decorations can be viewed through January 6, 2013. Regular museum hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm, and Sundays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Clayson House is located at 224 E. Palatine Road, Palatine.
